Outlast the Dark

 

I don't know why but i love the way black just enfolds a scene allowing the spots of color to shine even when they do so weakly. Here it is as though towers were rising from or descending into the darkness. At the edges of the scene are the shadowed forms of other towers peeking through the darkness a small cluster is made visible by the light. It all rest in a thick blanket of darkness that is relentless in its race to squash the light. The only question I have, how many towers were abandoned by the light?

those spires armed with light would not outlast the dark, but that did not stop them from trying.
