Mutually Oppossed

Opposites attract or so they say, and I for one agree. In the picture above we see angular shapes hanging in the air pointed and jagged they blur into the background becoming a wall of stone, Below we have the chaotic rush of blue as though it had been spilled and was rushing towards the camera, a lone pillar of light seemingly stemming the tide.

I cant help but note the differences between the more static upper layer and the flowy blue bottom layer. Both appear to be drawn into the leaning light pillar that pushes back the all consuming darkness.

Although they are different with the above more angular and the below more shapeless they both still have recognizable definition and are clearly distinct from each other. The dark however is not so defined it has no shape or form only consuming that which escapes the light. This is but a moment of that struggle between light and dark shape and shapeless definition and that which is without description.

Without one of these opposites the picture is bland. These clashing's of color, texture, and shape help make the picture more interesting.
